Beauty UK Show and Guild News Goes into Liquidation Leaving Hundreds Out of Pocket

The Beauty UK Show and Guild News, both under the umbrella of Beauty Exhibitions LTD has entered into voluntary liquidation on 06 June 2023. Visitors did not receive any communication prior to the annual Beauty UK Show with refunds for tickets, nor information that the event would not be going ahead, with hundreds turning up on the day only to find out that the event has been canceled.

The annual Beauty UK Show was due to go ahead on 4-5th June 2023 at Coventry, according to reports, the venue was aware that the show was not going to go ahead for a few weeks and had removed this from their events, no information was disclosed to attendees unless they reached out to the venue directly.

Beauty Professionals caught unaware by the company’s impending liquidation, turned up at the event only to learn that the show had been canceled, many incurring additional costs on top of the £10 ticket, with costs of car hire, hotels, train tickets and more.

Exhibitors who were due to attend the show have not received refunds for their stalls and space.

Guild News, published by Beauty Exhibitions LTD has not been updated since 28 February 2023. The print magazine has also ceased to be published in print, with the last issue available on the website dated February 2023.
