Goldfield & Banks Appoints Christian Vinsot as COO to Drive Global Expansion

Australia’s first luxury fragrance house, Goldfield & Banks, has appointed Christian Vinsot as its new Chief Operating Officer.

With a background in retail and distribution strategy, operations, and commercial finance, Vinsot brings over 26 years of experience, including successful tenures at organisations such as Carrefour, the international luxury perfumery group SBGC Dubai, and most recently as General Manager at Jashanmal in Dubai, overseeing the Travel Goods Division across the Middle East.

As Chief Operating Officer, Vinsot will collaborate with the company’s leadership team to expand Goldfield & Banks' position as a leading niche fragrance house following its most successful year ever in 2024. He will implement strategic operational efficiencies and lead initiatives to support Goldfield & Banks' commitment to global expansion across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.

Founder & Creative Director, Dimitri Weber said: “We are thrilled to have Christian join our team as Chief Operating Officer. He is a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering high-impact strategic, operational, and financial initiatives at scale for some of the world’s most luxurious brands. He will be invaluable in leading us into the next phase of development. As we grow, Christian’s expertise and commitment to operational excellence will be key to ensuring our continued success.”

Vinsot said: “It is a great honour for me to take on this new role at such a pivotal stage in Goldfield & Banks’ evolution. This is a trailblazing brand with infinite potential, and I’m excited to help shape its future to enable solid, profitable, and sustainable growth.”

Established in 2016, Goldfield & Banks is the brainchild of Dimitri Weber, who set out to craft exceptional luxury fragrances inspired by Australia’s extraordinary beauty – from coastal shores to lush rainforests and dramatic ochre-red deserts - and its rich native botanicals.
